The Koti Den - Page 6 Empty The Koti Den

Post by Marrok Thu Aug 29, 2013 5:46 am

First topic message reminder :

Marrok had just caught a third hare when he was about to catch his fourth a brown pup alerted it and made it hop away down into its tunnel. Rising up from his crouch the massive brute of white fur and red markings glared at the pup, then his gaze cooled. He knew the pup did not mean to alert his prey with her hoping around chasing a yellow butterfly. Flicking his ear and raising his muzzle as his yellow eyes looked down at the pup, his tail flickered. "What are you doing here?" He asked the pup in a calm tone, as he had not seen the brown pup around here. Nudging a hare toward the pup guessing she may had been hungry, he then picked up his catch of two since he had given the third to the pup.

" you wanna go outside after you have finnished"
Nakita asked, her eyes glancing over her pup. She could feel Akita tiny paws against her stomach and knew she would be done feeding soon. The grey and whites fae's tail wraps around the pups body, making sure she was warm.

As she was done, the young would continue to curl amongst her mother. snoozing away softly as she laid upon her mothers fluffy thick tail in comfort. She whined lightly toward the muffled voice of her mother speaking.

"Akita, you need to get up, you can't sleep all day"
Nakita said, gently licking her pup. The young pup could not possibly be tiered after just waking up. She then waited for her pup to wake back up.

the young tried to wake up once again as she whined in complaint. yet what else was there to do..? as she whined consistently, her stubby tiny legs would crawl aimlessly from her mother, getting a bit of fresh air as Akita would crawl near the den entrance. the merciless bright sun peeked down on her as she bawled toward the shine in her eyes.

Nakita got to her feet, following Akita towards the entrance to the den.
"I am taking you out to meet some of the pack members, but if it gets to cold for you just tell me and we will go back inside"
The grey and white fae said, her ice blue eyes glancing at the flattened snow around the main den area. She then nudged Akita encouraging the pup to go outside.

The Koti Den - Page 6 Empty Re: The Koti Den

Post by Amethyst Wed Sep 04, 2013 5:33 pm

Amethyst tried to slowly rise to her feet as she awoke from a very deep sleep. Her eyes slowly opened as she began to hear the sound of the soothing wind and birds chirping. Her muscles hurt a little and she moaned about the strong pain. She wanted to go inside the Koti den and go to her special spot where she loved to lay down. She felt the warm wind brush against her light grey fur. The soothing wind felt so good and made her muscles less likely to hurt. Her tail limply swung in the middle of her back legs. She then fell to the ground and slid herself inside the den. She turned herself around to stare into the distance from inside the den entrance. She felt her little pup kick inside her stomach. She also felt another deep pain, another contraction form for a minute. She quickly allowed herself to relax and to stay relaxed. She took deep breaths slowly in and out. The contractions were strong but she had to get through them. After a minute, the pain vanished and she gave a deep sigh.

With a sigh the brute slowly got to his paws as he followed after his mate. With a smirk the white brute nudged Akita with his nose, "Hurry up slow poke!" The large furry white brute said with a kind and joking voice, he then observed his pup with his bright yellow optics, which softened with a hint of humor.

Akita struggled to improve her speed. For she was only crawling, as she whimpered in frustration her nimble paws progressively crawling as they had finally reached past the den. Yet until the pup stopped, whining for her mother... As she had difficultly trying to turn, feeling the nudge as she whines softly

Nakita heard her her pup winning and she picked her pup up but the scruff of the neck, smiling at her mate. She nuzzled Marrok, hunger bubbling in her stomach. She had not eaten in days and was now running out of milk to feed her pup.

She placed Akita on top of a rock while she stalked and killed a hare, slowly eating half and passing the rest to her mate.
" you ok up there"
Nakita asked her pup, licking the blood of her lips. She then turned to her mate where she licked his cheek and nuzzled him, berrying her head into his pelt.

Amethyst sat inside the den near the entrance, looking out into the distance with her gold eyes. She allowed her tail to slide back and forth against the smooth flooring. It was a little cool inside the den. She looked and saw the ivory pelt of her friend that she always looked up to, Shadow. She slid herself out of the den a little, trying to get her muscles going. They were still a little weak. The light from the outside started giving her a headache. She looked at Shadow for a moment. "Ugh... I simply cannot take this pressure anymore... The symptoms are too strong for me... I'm really tired...". Her voice was a little scratchy too. Her throat became a little dry. She looked up at the ivory female and waited until she spoke.

The ivory hued fae stood in the shallow snow, her head slightly lifted, nose pointing to the sky and optics closed as she enjoyed the fresh air. Hearing the familiar sound of paw steps, the fae slowly opened her glacial orbs and turned her neck to watch her friend, Amethyst, slowly make her way out of the den. Meeting the richly adored grey femmora's gold eyes, the fae's ears perked as she listened to her friend speak of her exhaustion. "It will not be much longer until your pup sees the beauty of the world around him," Shadow spoke in a soft tone as she lightly licked Amethyst's ear before turning her gaze back to the den site's scenery. "Did you sleep well?" The fae asked as she observed the distant figures of wolves dash around in the snow.

Arrow came into the den clearing carrying a plump blue jay.trying to pin point his mate out, after finding her scent mixed in with shadow's and the white lily he made for her he walked over to her. happy to see her again. "hungry?" he mumbled with the bird in his mouth. he set it down next to her paws and layed down next to her. " hi shadow" he greeted.

Amethyst focused her attention on the ivory colored female that was her friend, Shadow. She perked her ears to the question she asked about getting enough sleep. "Yeah. But my muscles still kinda hurt... I did however have a very refreshing sleep..." Her attention turned to the den scenery just as Shadow's did. "I just can't wait until this thing is born. It will be very wonderful to watch him like this... Grow up and things..." Her thoughts drifted away for a second. Then came back. She wondered where her mate was. She missed seeing him. She loved the color of his brown and white pelt. "I miss seeing Arrow..." The light grey female commented sadly. Just then she heard the voice of her own mate. It was Arrow! "Yes. Thank you. I'm hungry." She took the plump blue jay and ate it all except for the skeleton. She then watched as her mate and Shadow conversed with one another.

Shadow stood and watched her friend's expression become peaceful as she trailed off into thought. Lowering herself back on her hunches, the fae wrapped her tail tightly around her frontal paws and waited patiently for the grey toned fae to return out of her thoughts. The femmora's lacerated ear flicked at the sound of Amethyst's soft worried tone as she spoke of her mate and her glacial eyes grew wide spotting the brute approach them. It almost seemed as if Amethyst's wish had come true and called to her mate.  "Hello Arrow," the femmora replied politely to the brown and red hued brute. "Good hunting?" The ivory hued femmora asked as she watched her friend tear into the carcass hungrily.

"Yeah it was good." Arrow yawned and rested next to amethyst side. his sharp hearing listaning to her heart beat. he soon fell into a deep sleep. mist comes and fills his dream, it was a good dream... so far. he seen him self his mate and the pup. but it soon turn into a night terror. he feels his body turn cold. he sees flash images of his father. blood was smeard every wear, on the den walls and the ground as well trees. he walked around to a river it was running red with blood. he whimperd in his sleep and tryed to awake as he seen his mates and sons body floute down the bloody river. he tryed and tryed until he seen his father right there in front of him he snaped his jaws and he awoke yelping in terror. he jumped up shaking and panting his eyes filled with fear terror and wide with shock. his tail was tight between his legs and his ears pinned to his head. he looked alot smaller than her was.

After Amethyst finished her carcass, she looked at her mate who had fallen into a deep sleep. She licked him gently, notifying him that she was glad to see him again. It was like her wish had come true. Wanting her mate to be with her and he was finally there. She watched him as it looked as if he was having a nightmare. She saw that he had awoken moments later. She licked him comfortingly.

Keeping silent to avoid awakening Arrow from his sleep, the turned her glacial gaze up to the sky. The occasional switch of the sleeping brute gave away the nightmare he was facing. The abrupt flicker of sharp movement in her peripheral vision caused the fae leapt back in alarm, the fur along her spine rose and a low growl escaped her throat. Realizing she had growled toward the frightened Jeager, the fae folded her ears back and flattened her fur, afraid of startling the brute more than he had already been. "It was just a dream," the femmora spoke in a steady soft tone, assuring the brute he was safe.

Amethyst watched as the ivory female was startled by Arrow's reaction as he was dreaming. A few moments later, She saw him awoke and explain what had happened in the dream. Her ears perked in shock and sadness. Tears came to her eyes. "Not Boulder..." She said in sad tone. She tried licking him softly again. Thinking over what Arrow had said, She began to cry. How could Arrow have dreamed something like that? "I hope that... That never ever happens to Boulder..." Her eyes were over flooding with tears. She tried looking up at Shadow, in case she wanted to say something as well.

Mismatched ears folded back into the skull, the fae listened quietly to Arrow's recollection of his dream. The gruesome dream had left the brute frightened and his mate in tears. The thought of being torn open did disgust the ivory fae, but she felt her death would have been brought through fighting to her last breath. Taking a few steady breaths to keep her heart drumming at a steady beat the fae calmed herself before approaching Amethyst. Pressing the side of her face into Amethyst's soft fur, the fae closed her eyes. She could not begin to understand the emotions tied to losing a pup but she knew the pain of losing her kin. "Everything is alright," the femmora whispered, her voice soft and partly muffled. "Boulder is alive and well but you need to calm down for his sake."

Amethyst took the time to try to relax herself when she felt her friend trying to comfort her. "Yeah..." She allowed herself some nice deep breaths as she tried to relax herself more and more. She buried her face into Shadow's soft ivory colored fur. She kept breathing deeply, only for the pup's sake of keeping alive and well. "I'm sorry... That part about Boulder being dead scared me..." she admitted in a soft tone. Once she was calm enough, she took in the soothing scent of the white lily she was still wearing around her neck. She looked at Shadow again and thanked her for being very supportive. She almost managed a smile.

Shadow's tail gently swayed behind her at the sight of her friend managing a meek smile. "Boulder will be safe in the pack, no harm can come to him with so many wolves around," the fae said while taking a step away from her grey toned friend to give her breathing space. Feeling restless, the fae shifted her paws, she was unsure how else to comfort her friend over the nightmare. Part of her was irritated with Arrow for bringing up the topic of Boulder and stressing the grey hued wolf.

Rad looked up and glared at the sky. Its was cloudy, hinting at a chance of snow. she sighed and and noticed arrow, amethyst and another wolf (shad) talking about something. she took a step closer, curious about what they were talking about. she turned her head, seeing arrow shaking terribly and a panicked look on amethyst and the other wolf faces. she turned around and walked away from them, not wanting to be noticed. As she walked, Her nose flickered to a strong smell. she slowly creeped up onto the scent, worried about if it could bite back. She relaxed a little when she saw it was bush full of ripe purple berry's. she gladly ripped off a branch and sat down, munching on the berry's messily, staining her muzzle with purple juice.

"Yes. I know he will. He will come out of me and he will be very healthy and very active. I picture this now..." The light grey female allowed her mind to drift a little as she thought of the future of her little puppy. She looked and saw that Shadow had given her some space to actually breathe. She slowly sat down again, looking at her stomach. In relief, Boulder was awake as well and kicking around in her stomach. She smiled at that. She looked at Shadow with gentle gold eyes and smiled. "Bolder is awake again". She said, beginning to giggle a little.

A soft smile formed on the fae's maw as she heard Amethyst giggle and speak of her pup being awake. The smile quickly perished as the femmora stood stiffly in her tracks and turned her nose to the wind scenting a rich aroma on the breeze, the ivory fae almost felt taunted for not following the strange bewitching scent. Turning her frame away from the grey hued fae, Shadow slowly padded after the scent. Curiosity burned within her like an ember craving the ability to burst into flames. Arriving at the crescent rise of a hill, the femmora looked down at an uncovered bush with a wolf resting near it(Rad).
